Syngenta Canada exec raises concerns over Ottawa's biotech seed bill

Jay Bradshaw, Syngenta Canada's president, said the passage of a bill that would require Ottawa to study the effect of biotech seeds on export markets could bring "enormous consequences" to Canada's agricultural sector and trading reputation. Bradshaw added that the bill would hamper Canadian farmers' access to innovations.
