Chef, culinary students work with schools on healthy menus

Chef Paul Suplee and his students at Worcester County Technical High School in Maryland worked with five elementary schools to create healthy meals that can be incorporated into regular student menus. Grant money was used to equip some school kitchens with needed cookware, and Suplee said many changes made to student meals were simple, with a focus on fresh produce and using fewer processed foods.
