Cameron Health wins FDA panel vote for cardiac device

A panel of FDA advisers voted to recommend the safety and effectiveness of Cameron Health's S-ICD defibrillator, which can be implanted just below the skin to treat sudden cardiac arrest. Cameron Health is in the process of being bought by Boston Scientific for $150 million, plus $150 million more once its defibrillator is approved by the FDA.
