GGP to spend $57.5M on Glendale Galleria renovation

Glendale Galleria in Glendale, Calif., will undergo a major renovation. The 1.5 million-square-foot retail center's improvements will include the addition of a Bloomingdale's department store and redevelopment of the Central Avenue Plaza. The owner, General Growth Properties, estimates that it will invest $57.5 million in the project, which is scheduled for completion in fall of 2013, according to public documents.
