Evaluations that work for principals, work for schools

"Though principal evaluations can be an invaluable lever for leadership development, districts have struggled to perform them consistently or with quality," writes superintendent Pam Vogel. In a recent ASCD Express article, she points to a new framework developed by the Principal Evaluation Committee that can support efforts in this area.
