Kabbage loans out more than $200M year to date

Kabbage has provided more than $200 million in annualized cash-advance loans this year, serving about 100,000 small businesses, most of which are home-based companies. Although advances have jumped 298% compared with the same period in 2012, "the increase in lending could be more indicative of its own growth and access to funding than of general economic factors," Annie Pilon writes.
