Reducing juice allowances may lower children's calorie intake

Families purchased 23.5% less juice overall following the reduction in juice allotments under the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children, possibly lowering children's extra calorie intake, a study on the website of the journal Pediatrics showed.
