R.I. school district ties insurance premiums to wellness

Employees of Westerly Public Schools in Rhode Island can get up to a 2.5% discount on health insurance by participating in voluntary health screenings and making sure their results are the same or better each year. The screenings by Interactive Health will also be accompanied by telephone coaching for employees whose tests indicate health concerns, such as high cholesterol.
