President Barack Obama needs to urge the State Department to move swiftly on the approval of TransCanada's Keystone XL pipeline, writes the editorial board of Bloomberg. The agency has all the facts necessary, particularly about the jobs tied with the project and its potential environmental impact. "In the end, the most important thing that Keystone would do is carry as many as 830,000 barrels of oil a day from Canada and from the Bakken shale formation in North Dakota to refineries on the U.S. Gulf Coast," the board argues.
