Enterprises are projected to shell out $11 billion this year on security to protect networks, smartphones and tablets against malware, an SNS Research report says. Part of the security push includes greater use of SSL VPNs as well as more monitoring and control activities. Investments in mobile security have a projected growth rate of almost 20% in the next few years, Michael Cusanelli writes.
