Stanford launches research center on research

Scientists at Stanford University's new Meta-Research Information Center at Stanford will study the field of research in an effort to improve how research is conducted. Researchers will study weaknesses and biases in an effort to understand their effects and identify ways to avoid or correct the problems they cause, said co-director Dr. John Ioannidis, a professor of medicine and health research and policy.
