UP's "Big Boy" leaves Calif. on trek to Wyo. for restoration

Hundreds of onlookers gathered at Cajon Pass in Southern California to watch as the 73-year-old steam powered Engine 4014, known as the Big Boy, passed on the first leg of its journey to Wyoming where the historic train will be restored by Union Pacific and become a traveling exhibit. "This is the chance of a lifetime," said Ron Mack, a member of the Rail and Locomotive Historical Society who got to ride on the train.
