FMI Voices Disapproval Of Farm Bill

The Food Marketing Institute has said it is against a provision in the proposed Farm Bill that would require retailers to label meat products according to their country of origin. FMI also criticized the bill for diverting funds from food-safety programs and undermining free trade with Canada and Mexico.
