MPAA workshops explore file-sharing ethics

"What's the Diff?," the Motion Picture Association of America's junior high school program on antipiracy, uses role-playing to discuss the impact of file-sharing on workers in the film industry. While the MPAA says its workshops teach students how to be good digital citizens, Wired contributing editor Jeff Howe says their real purpose is to protect filmmakers from the devastating revenue losses file-sharing has inflicted on the recording industry.
