With so many consumers now shopping online, bricks-and-mortar stores in a variety of industries, large and small, are offering more services to maintain their customer base. In the consumer-electronics space, Best Buy offers its Geek Squad's computer-repair services, while Costco Wholesale recently launched an installation service for big-screen televisions.
