Chinese exporters demanding euros

The falling dollar and weakening U.S. demand has led some Chinese exporters to ask European customers to pay in euros. The dollar is down 4% this year after dropping 7% last year against China's currency, the yuan. Since the start of this year, "I quote prices in euros to all my European clients," said Ma Lin Ping, the general manager of Taizhou City Qizhou Industry.
