Depression during pregnancy tied to postpartum mental health

A new study found treating depression in pregnant women could reduce their risk of postpartum depression and the stress that is common early in parenthood. The researchers found seven significant risk factors for antenatal depression, including anxiety, low self esteem and low levels of social support.
