Reprogrammed mouse skin cells can turn into cardiac, blood cells

U.S. researchers successfully developed several types of functioning heart and blood cells after reprogramming mouse skin cells to act like embryonic stem cells. The experts believe that the induced pluripotent stem cells can pave the way for new treatments for heart ailments and blood diseases.
