Study: Blu-ray out of reach for most consumers:

For all the hype, Blu-ray players remain too pricey to gain much traction among consumers, according to a report from research firm ABI. The study, which suggested it could take 12 to 18 months for people to embrace the technology, said consumer-electronics companies must develop sub-$200 BD players to dominate the market.
