Poll: Most CFOs against boosting marketing budgets

Six in 10 chief financial officers don't think their chief marketing officers' budgets should be increased, while only 22% support a larger outlay for their CMOs, according to a survey of CFOs at Fortune 1000 companies by DiMassimo Goldstein. But most of the CFOs polled viewed marketing as an important part of their companies' work.
