Psychiatrist: Medication may help people with disabilities make progress

Psychiatric medication may be able to help some people with developmental disabilities, says Dr. Ken Talan, a board-certified psychiatrist. If symptoms are frequent or cause anxiety, medication may help some people to better concentrate on making educational or developmental progress, he says.
