Cost of flat-screen TVs expected to increase in the third quarter

The cost of liquid-crystal display panels will continue to fall during the second quarter of this year, but prices will head back up again in the third quarter, according to a report from DisplaySearch. Analysts believe that the varying cost of manufacturing LCD panels will have a corresponding effect on the prices consumers pay for the TV sets at retail.
