Austerity and labor reform drive up unemployment, report says

The U.N. International Labor Organization concluded in a report that labor-market reform and austerity measures are making unemployment throughout the world worse and aren't reducing deficits. "The narrow focus of many eurozone countries on fiscal austerity is deepening the jobs crisis and could even lead to another recession in Europe," said lead author Raymond Torres.
