BuzzFeed co-founder: Digital advertising is ready for a paradigm shift

Online marketing is nearing a tipping point, says BuzzFeed co-founder Jonah Peretti. Display ads are the vestigial remnants of portal-based Web browsing, Peretti argues, and will inevitably be almost entirely replaced by more social, interactive forms of advertising. "Social is a Copernican revolution but it's still in its early stages," he explains.
