Connecticut House passes minimum-wage bill

The Connecticut House has approved a minimum-wage increase of 25 cents for each of the next two years. The state's current minimum wage is $8.25 an hour. Groups in favor of the wage increase recently delivered a petition with 3,000 signatures to the Legislature.
