Expert discusses high-fructose corn syrup

Dr. Frank Hu, professor of nutrition and epidemiology at the Harvard School of Public Health, says in this interview that high-fructose corn syrup is likely no worse for consumers than table sugar. However, "we should worry about sugar in general," he said. Hu said that because high-fructose corn syrup is cheap, it has become widely used and is now a main source of calories.
