Legal challenges prompt suspension of Wyo. wind project

Wasatch Wind is suspending development of one of its two wind projects in Converse County, Wyo., until next year because of legal challenges filed by a local group. Lawsuits filed by the group have disrupted construction on the Pioneer Wind Park I project, prompting Wasatch Wind to cancel a power-purchase deal with Rocky Mountain Power, said spokeswoman Michelle Stevens. The second wind project is unaffected by the delay, Stevens said.
