Pilots plead with Ohio city officials to keep airport open

Pilots of all ages gathered last week to ask the City Council of Blue Ash, Ohio, to reconsider closing Blue Ash Airport. Dylan Consbruck, a 17-year old Civil Air Patrol cadet, said the airport provides opportunities for learning. "If there is any way the Blue Ash City Council can be proactive in the preservation of the Blue Ash Airport, I know not only I will be grateful, but the general aviation community, the Civil Air Patrol and most importantly the citizens of Blue Ash would greatly benefit from your efforts," he said.
