Senators are finding ways to work together

In recent weeks, the Senate has passed several major pieces of legislation, including a two-year transportation bill and postal rescue. After a year of gridlock, senators are frustrated and ready to get things done, says Senate Majority Whip Dick Durbin. In addition, with elections looming, both parties see political advantage in getting things done.
