Web designers should make a point of asking clients a series of probing questions about their company, their brand and their audience, writes Wes McDowell. Only by coming to grips with a brand's identity and existing customer base can designers create sites that go beyond being simply pretty and resonate with the customers a brand is hoping to attract.
