Doctor tells how stem cell therapy donation saved man's foot

A Georgia doctor tells how a donated stem cell therapy helped prevent the amputation of a man's foot after a cut led to necrotizing fasciitis. After other interventions failed, podiatrist Dr. Spence Misner treated the wound with tissue grafts embedded with human stem cells. Ligament, muscle, fat and skin have regrown following repeated applications of the treatment from Osiris Therapeutics.
