Honey-infused products may help heal cancer-related wounds

Gels and dressings containing active leptospermum honey may encourage healing and reduce pain in wounds associated with cancer treatment, including surgical sites and radiation dermatitis, according to a study presented at a recent Oncology Nursing Society meeting. ALH works to decrease edema, stimulate cytokines and balance pH.
