The Wall Street Journal and Conde Nast are among the companies presenting streaming content for the first time at this year's Digital NewFronts. Industry observers say they expect more than hype from this year's event, which comes on the heels of a year filled with digital series that were hits, such as Netflix's "House of Cards," and misses, such as Tom Hanks' "Electric City." "If you look back over the course of the year, as we talked to brands and agencies, there [are] some questions about quality and about the volume of things that were actually produced," says Eric Berger, Sony Pictures TV executive vice president of digital networks.
