Study of Medtronic's aortic stent graft kicks off

Medtronic has initiated an investigational device exemption study of its Valiant Mona LSA stent graft, with the first implantation performed by doctors in Ohio and North Carolina. The seven-participant study will evaluate the use of the device in treating aortic aneurysms in the left subclavian artery.
