Chinese smog crisis stokes demand for foreign clean tech

China's air-pollution problems are creating public pressure for environmental reform, and that's giving rise to big opportunities for clean-tech companies, analysts say. American companies that specialize in sectors such as retrofitting power plants with emission-busting technologies say they're seeing a growing demand for their products in China. "From an inves­tor's standpoint, there's going to be a big market in China for clean technology," says Ed Sappin, head of Sappin Global Strategies.
