Increasing number of young children get IBD, study says

An increasing number of children ages 5 and younger are being diagnosed with early-onset inflammatory bowel disease and often get a more aggressive form, a study found. Researchers said family history of IBD was not a significant factor in whether children developed either Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis.
