Pa. teachers combine robots, poetry in STEAM project

Two eighth-grade teachers at a Pennsylvania school collaborated on a science, technology, engineering, arts and math project that had students building robotic theaters to act out poems. The repetition of recording the poems and analyzing them to design the dioramas helped students learn poetry, and designing and plotting the robots' movements taught students basic engineering and computer technology, teacher Susan Mellon said.
