Red Roof Inn courts millennials with renovations

Economy hotel franchise Red Roof Inn has funneled $150 million into renovating its properties nationwide to appeal to its growing millennial consumer base. Chief Marketing Officer Marina MacDonald says the changes are direct responses to TripAdvisor reviews delivered to her phone. "While our consumers are typically boomers and Gen X ... it's surprising how much of the millennial section we are capturing," she said.
