Senate panel postpones vote on housing-finance reform

Sens. Tim Johnson, D-S.D., and Mike Crapo, R-Idaho, say they have enough votes for a bill overhauling housing finance to pass the Senate banking committee, but they have delayed a vote to try to garner more support. "We're going to have a little more conversation," said Sen. Bob Corker, R-Tenn. "We've narrowed it down to a very small group of points that potentially could bring a lot more members on."
