Just two of 1,293 stroke survivors met all of the American Heart Association's "Life's Simple 7" measures for ideal cardiovascular health, researchers reported at the American Academy of Neurology conference. The study analyzed data from three periods between 1988 and 2010. It found that between 1988-1994 and 2005-2010, the proportion of people with the worst cholesterol levels decreased, while the percentage of those who were overweight and eating an unhealthy diet significantly increased.
