Study: Mobile accounts for 12% of digital ad spend in travel

Mobile has a 12% share of total digital advertising in the travel sector, with two-thirds of mobile travelers using their smartphones and tablets to book hotel rooms and half making flight reservations, according to a comScore study for Millennial Media. The study also ranked travel as the seventh-biggest sector for mobile advertising, with airlines making up the segment's largest share.
