Bill To Give Equal Textbook Access To The Blind

Legislation introduced April 24 into both houses of Congress would give blind and visually impaired students equal access to educational materials and would give schools two years to comply, a report says. The bill stipulates that textbook publishers produce materials in a universal electronic format that all schools could access.
