Broadband video market to reach $500 million

The broadband video advertising market upfront will grow from about $30 million three years ago to an estimated $500 million over the next 12 months. The growth represents a shift in how advertising dollars are allocated, but some experts caution that "pre-roll," ads running before online videos, may be less effective than TV commercials.
