Developer to build massive Universal theme park in Dubai

A United Arab Emirates developer plans to build the $2.2 billion Universal City Dubailand theme park. The developer will finance the project, but NBC Universal will help in the design of the attractions, which will be similar to those in the U.S. The theme park, which will have about 100 restaurants and 4,000 hotel rooms, is scheduled to open in 2010.
