Private control of public assets gains favor

Banks and private investment firms have taken a keen interest in public infrastructure in the past year as a means to bring cash flow for roads, bridges, airports and other structures. Private control of properties helps pay for maintenance, but as governments relinquish control of public assets, some wonder if investors are getting the better end of the deal.
