Agents must investigate employers before conducting workplace raids

The Department of Homeland Security has shifted its policy and will require Immigration and Customs Enforcement -- or ICE -- agents to investigate an employer before conducting raids against undocumented workers. Under the new rules, field agents need an arrest, indictment or search warrant for the employer before they can arrest employees on the job.
