UBS says providing client info would violate Swiss law

In a court filing in Miami, UBS said providing information about its U.S. clients to the Internal Revenue Service would violate Switzerland's privacy laws. UBS also said the U.S. and Swiss governments should settle the matter, saying it is "fundamentally an issue for diplomats, not litigators."
