Apple's 4G claims in the U.K. removed ahead of probe

The United Kingdom's Advertising Standards Authority has ruled that Apple may not advertise its iPad as "4G" within the U.K. because while the claims adhere to U.S. and Canada's spectrum-space standards, they are not in line with those of the U.K. The ASA said Apple already removed references to 4G speed from its U.K. website and a sales video. The ASA said it has closed the case, but remains open to investigating new complaints if and when they arise.
