Breguet tells its story on mobile apps

Targeting affluent consumers who are spending more time on their mobile devices, Swiss watchmaker Breguet has launched applications for the iPhone and iPad that tell the brand's story. The apps have a store locator but do not include an e-commerce element, reflecting a "hyper-conservative approach to app development" typical of luxury brands, said Scott Forshay, mobile and emerging technologies strategist for Acquity Group.
