Congressman plans bill to stave off any federal ban on fracking

U.S. Rep. Lee Terry, R-Neb., said he plans to introduce a bill that would protect hydraulic fracturing in case the federal government attempts to ban the process of extracting natural gas. "My bill will say that fracking regulations will be on the state level because the reality is that the geographic formations are different [in various states]," Terry said.
